My name is Amy, and I’m originally from Milton Keynes. Having grown up here I went away in September 2008 to Bangor University in North Wales for 3 years, studying a BA in Theology. Following this I spent a year living and working in Liverpool, working for Hope University as their Chaplaincy Assistant before returning to Milton Keynes in September 2012 where I worked as a Teaching Assistant across 3 Secondary Schools until September 2015.
Having discovered a love for working with young people I took a year out to complete a Graduate Diploma in Youth Work and Ministry with Oasis College, London. During this year I worked as a trainee youth worker for an Anglican Church and youth work charity XLP both based in the borough of Newham.
I returned to Milton Keynes in September 2016 and worked as a TA for two years before accepting a position to work as Children, Youth and Families officer for two churches in Llandudno, North Wales. I left Wales in August 2019 and returned to live with family in Milton Keynes.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, singing, spending time with friends and family over a meal, watching films at the cinema and spending time with my adorable yet cheeky cat Tudno.
