My name is Sam Hall and I have lived in Milton Keynes nearly all my life, having been born in Cornwall.
I have directly benefitted from MK Bridgebuilder Trust activities from when I was young, through different routes from fun assemblies from Tim Cutting, watching Shine sing and Saltmine do drama at my secondary school (Ousedale), through to taking part in netball tournaments with other Christian girl groups from across MK, which MKBT organised so that we could meet other Christians from across our city.
Having someone who was also a Christian come into my school, where it wasn’t cool to speak about my faith, made me feel like I wasn’t alone being a Christian and that it was actually quite a cool thing to be.
I feel called to work for MKBT as they are doing amazing work across MK in bringing Jesus into the lives of school children, who need to know His love, hope and purpose for their lives, especially during these tough COVID times.
I hope to help raise significantly more funds for MKBT, so that we can have enough schools workers to adequately cover the whole of Milton Keynes’ primary and secondary schools, who are asking for help for their pupils, now more than ever.
MK keeps growing so we need more schools workers – could you help us in any way to serve our local schools and schoolchildren? Please do contact me anytime on 07779 081255. Many thanks.
